We have made some great advancements in technology that enhance the human senses, especially in the area of sight. Telescopes, long distance lenses and optical scanning technology have made some major advances and the far-reaching distance that they provide exceeds the range of the human eye. We do make better and better sight enhancements like contact lenses, multi-focal glasses and even Lasik eye surgery. Hearing technologies include, hearing aids, telephones, speakers, ect. Scientists are developing technologies that enable us to use all our senses while allowing us to reach concepts and objects in remote locations. Emerging technology is a topic we should familiarize ourselves with. This is our future. It’s always beneficial to know what’s on its way when it comes to technology. The purpose of this study is to discover how breakthrough technologies involve all of the human senses and provide a new relationship between humans and technology. Also, this study should provide details on how theses advancements offer a new experience for humanity.
